My kids, 5 and 8, have taken lessons at Fancy Mount Farms and attended summer camp. They initially had little experience riding, but I rode for 30 years, and have an understanding of what is right, and what isn't. What is right is the instructors ability to teach my kids, with patience and kindness, the best and safest skills for the rider and the horse What is right is that the farm is beautiful, the horses are well cared for, and students learn to properly care for the horses they ride, in addition to learning to ride in the appropriate manner for what they are working on. Their progress from little experience to riding confidently, is both wonderful to watch, and a joy for them. The kids had a wonderful time at summer camp, learned a great deal. They proudly show off their camp scrapbooks, and can't wait to go back for lessons again. It is a wonderful place, well above the other places we have tried.

I've taken riding lessons with Elaina at Fancy Mount Farm since they opened. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The farm is beautiful and well-maintained, with a brand new arena and plenty of riding rails throughout the property. All of the horses are friendly and well-behaved. I've rode almost all of her horses and each of them do beautifully in the arena and on the trails. Fancy Mount Farm is an amazing combination of a relaxed, fun and no pressure environment while also being hard-working and educational. Elaina is a wonderful teacher, she's truly gifted. She has had so much experience in so many different areas of riding. She is good at explaining, helping, and teaching in and out of the arena. I love how she incorporates horsemanship into her lessons. When you taking lessons at Fancy Mount not only will you learn about riding and technique you will learn about taking care of horses. Undoubtedly the best! I would highly recommend taking riding lessons at Fancy Mount Farm regardless of your experience.
Fancy Mount Farm is a beautiful place with a huge exteme obstacle course. There are well over 60 obstacles suited for all different levels of riding. It is a fabulous place for your children to take riding lessons. :)
